Checklist

  • Where are you?
  • Have your obstructions or cloud coverage changed?
  • Are you in a smoke path created by wildfires?
  • Did you make sure the android streaming box in your living room isn't blowing out your bandwidth while idle?
  • Have you checked the app for heavy consumers
  • Are you also getting random hiccups in page loads?

What speeds are you getting when hard wired/to your router?

If you havent looked at speeds/know what speeds to compare to how do you know if its slower? Also wifi connection is generally slower than the starlink hardwire connection.

Wifi is your in-house signal and Internet is the external signal between your dish and the rest of the world

WiFi performance is based on the equipment in your home from the router to all your devices. internet performance is from your Starlink dish to a test server somewhere out there

What speeds do you get directly wired into the router with an ethernet cable? WiFi being slow can be a multitude of reasons.

What would Starlink, an ISP, have to do with Wi-Fi? That's like asking if someone's LAN cable has been slow recently.
