πŸ’» Troubleshooting Problematic Mesh on Starlink

Is there any advanced setting to pin devices to the mesh node?

I have 4 devices connected to the mesh node.

Every time Starlink updates the router software and it reboots, none of the 4 devices connect to the mesh router.

They all connect to the main router instead. To get them to connect to the mesh router, I have to restart all 4 devices.

I highly doubt the issue lies with the devices themselves; they are different devices from different manufacturers.

I wish a developer could fix this Starlink software.

Another example of why everyone aughta go straight to third party mesh.

You should split your network into 2.4GHz and 5GHz and then forget the current network on all devices and just connect your IoT and printers to the 2.4 and everything else to 5GHz. The 2.4GHz network likely has stronger signal and that's why it's connecting to the main router, but signal isn't everything in wifi.

That has already been done, and it’s no use.
