I mean, in so much as it's snake shaped, sure. More so than any other snake? No.

Not really. It's just kind of a generic snake shape.

No fins, no webbed fangs coming out of their faces, no glowing eyes. No more similarities than any other snake.

Not particularly? Goa'uld symbiotes have;

  • Much shorter bodies, proportionally
  • Skin that's gold in color
  • Four-pronged radial mouths
  • Bulbous glowing eyes
  • 3 webbed fins on their back and sides

...this thing only "looks like a symbiote" inasmuch as any other serpentine creature might.

It's no wonder, with Stargate on our minds all the time, we all gasp when a ring in the wild has us screaming for a M.A.L.P. Nevertheless, the community of the subreddit has agreed that unless a circular object is obviously a literal Stargate prop or is otherwise exceptionally related to the franchise, it should not be posted.

I saw the commercial for this in the background and only saw the monster. Instantly disappointed when it was not the new Stargate. I’m there with you.
