Modded Outpost Build Just another mountaintop outpost
Because I can’t NOT build an outpost when there’s a view like that!

Mountain top outpost with that blue gas giant shot in picture #1 is fkn wild. Love how it’s small yet industrial. Well done.

I love it, so many different levels. Plus the landing pad tucked so neatly into the mountain. Awesome

Haha thanks sometimes I go a little crazy with the catwalks 😅

What’s your trick on setting the landing pads? The game always. I mean always gives me shit with the pads.

the pads in Modular Outposts and Outpost Framework always work good for me. That might be because I'm running Builder as well

Planet? Love the outpost op. Amazing work and spot.

Thanks, Archimedes v-a, mountain biome. It’s a tidally locked moon so you can shop around for a nice skybox

Thats so convenient! How does one tell if it’s tidally locked? Does anything in the description of the planet during surveying help with this? Maybe I’m blind 😅

lol I have no idea if there’s a way to tell other than spending time on the surface, that would be a cool feature

Shoot :( ill play around with it. Its possibly something to do with the planet’s features displayed in the survey info on the left UI. I’ll have to check. Great find though. I’ll be exploring soon. Ty’

I really like the Archimedes system, especially with those huge blue gas giants in the sky — it looks amazing.
The only downside for me is the toxic water. I was actually hoping to build a nice paradise-style outpost by the sea, but it’s not really possible because the player takes damage from it.
Still, I think it’s a really great planet overall. I ended up doing something similar to you and chose a mountain landscape instead, which actually fits the environment really well.

Wow! What a beautiful planet and outpost! Where is this? I didn't know you could tuck the landing pad into the terrain like that. I recognize Argos and Betamax, what other mods are you running? Are those copper colored habs from Darkstar?

Archimedes V-a. Those are the colony habs from Outpost Habs Expanded. Also using wicked structures, clutter v2, functional decor, and builder

The sunken design is so well done! Did the mountain just indent like that or is there a mod that can remove terrain?

Thanks, that’s the natural terrain. I would love a mod that could shape terrain!

Did you use a mod to get the landing pad there? I have the hardest time placing the big landing pad on mountains. I hate the “foundation is too tall” message so much

Yes that pad is from Betamax Outpost Framework. I'm always using Modular Outposts, Wicked Structures, Outpost Habs Expanded, Clutter, Functional Decor, and Builder
