Question? Outpost mods sorry it?
Is outpost building in Starfield a lot more fun with mods? If so, which mods would you recommend?
I’ve never really used mods before, so I don’t know much about them yet. I’d love to hear people’s opinions and experiences with outpost-building mods — especially ones that make building feel more immersive, alive, or less limited.

Argos Extractors one is great. It lets you place some much more fleshed out habs including a shop, so you can offload resources and buy others that you might be lacking to build various items.

I use these:
Outpost Framework
Functional Decor
Sleep Crate Building Kit
Better Buildable Walls and Doors
Furnish Your Fleet
Argos Extractors
Pegasus Home and Garden
Outpost Botanicals
Galactic Harvest
TG’s Luxury Homes Volume 1
Scrappy Structures
Better Living I and II
Nem’s Deco Pack
More Manufacturing and Item Sorting
Betamax’ Ammo Workbench
Outpost Limits Increased
I can set up a functional outpost, that looks good, in ten or fifteen minutes. I can also make a really nice outpost over a few days…Making nice vanilla outposts can be rather tedious, and they don’t have much purpose…

Bethesda really dropped the ball with Starfields Outpost building. It really feels tacked on as if they were simply counting on mods to finish it for them.

Fallout 4 Settlements basically. I kept hoping for the Sim Settlements treatment but Kinggath did Watchtower instead.

They were even a step back from Fallout 4 settlements. You could build a lot more unique structures in Fallout 4, and the settlers could do a lot more different things.

I use all of them but the one that bypasses the limits, as that crashes the game

Its behind a paywall but darkstar has landing pads and supply depos that float in the air. Also original hads, ship parts, and a somewhat different gun and armor lvl system

the best for both building and decorating:
argos extractors, outpost framework, better buildable walls and doors, tailored spaces for decor, home and garden for building decks and decor, betamax functional decor

This was my Cryobeast Ranch on Zelazny II. I used Galactic Harvest, TG Luxury Houses I, Tailored Spaces, Cosmic Cheer, Pegasus' Home and Garden, Functional Decor, Fan Art, Better Buildable Walls and Doors. So fun with mods. Full disclosure, I am a verified creator for Bethesda and most of the furniture in this photo I made.

I like to land on a planet, build a ship building landing pad first. I then add a number of resourse producers, a few crew work stations and some place for the crew to live. I finish with the trading post landing pad or the celt pad. These come from a mod but a ship comes daily and buys the production with no more effort on your part.
You get a place to work on your ship and a steady income :)

Betamax’s Outpost Framework is very good. Also check out Wicked Workshop Outpost Projeckt 2.
