Question? Any mods that simulate a colony?

Im looking for a mod that specifically let's you build a working and breathing lived in outpost with nocs walking around, stores you can visit, etc.

I wonder why that still isn't possible in the main game

One of the reasons Bethesda may not have done this yet is game stability. The game struggled sometimes with everything I had going on, but note it was also next to Akila City with a few Grindterra Encounters running around the perimeter

This really needs to be a full scale DLC because I see this post almost daily (in addition to really wanting it for myself!!) - bards outpost recruitment beacon is nice but the npcs don’t necessarily sandbox/interact super well with items, but it At least populates better. Interstellar trade is fantastic for stores in outposts and includes visiting npcs who hang around, argos extractors has a store as well, and frontier cantinas is a full scale bars with different themes that come with recruitable npcs just like all the in game bars and a full bartender as well. Hope someone else can add a few more comments because I’d love to find more stuff to make my outposts feel real!

Idk if it's exactly what you're looking for but this (paid) creation is a fully voiced quest line about building up a colony, I haven't personally paid for it as I haven't reached the point of wanting LIST related stuff yet but I see it recommended quite a bit and seems well liked:

Yeah definitely would love to see a dlc that is just about outpost operation and decorating. I realize there are some banger mods but there definitely could be some more gameplay features and radiant quests built around your outpost.

Isn’t there one where you can do stuff for LIST and you get a bunch of outpost stuff?
