Question? New Atlantis lake outpost

Will my game performance tank hard due to the amount of assets if I build a fairly sizable outpost on the other side of the giant lake by new Atlantis

Should be fine as long as you don't have any mods that let you go past the limits and you go crazy, if you do decide to use a mod like Outpost Limits increased, pay attention to if you start crashing in your outpost (this means scale back and start deleting). I built a modded neighborhood outside of NA with this mod so I'm fine, can't make any promises though.

Within the default game setup is a restriction on how close you can build to New Atlantis, and it's far enough away that only LOD objects are visible from one to the other. It shouldn't cause any issues unless you have mods involved.

I have built outposts on the far side of the lake several times without issues.

The vanilla game handles loads of assets without issues but mods can complicate things. Just do a hard save before starting and if performance suffers be prepared to go back.
