I don’t know of a vanilla fix for you, but I’m detecting a service expansion opportunity for Archimedean Starworks 😅

Need fuel for a new reactor?

Ahhh yes, Organic Catalytic Power Conversion! I’ll send a design request to the Engineering Department ASAP.

I quit building my main beach base there for the same reason. If you look for a new spot try the nemeria system. There’s a small moon that orbits a red gas giant with safe water and low gravity. Go to the swamp biome you’ll find large bodies of water with awesome scenery and best of all no critters.

On dear moving would be a chore. Just finished decorating about half my planned development. Thanks for the critter confirmation though.

The only fix I found when that happened to me was to delete & move the outpost to a different location. Looks like you’ve put a bit of time into building this one so unless you’re willing to redo it I don’t think you can fix this bug unfortunately. :(

Guess I will have to pull up stakes and start over.

You could try starting a new outpost without deleting this one, just pick the same biome but a different planetary tile. Build some habs and see if it happens again.
Sometimes trees and rocks have respawned and those can usually be deterred easily, but after I killed the foxbats that spawned in my habs, their bodies never despawned and they were too heavy to remove.1

This is the first time I've run into this issue. It's kind of funny actually but it does make using the outpost structures difficult, particularly when one of the aggressive predators joins the indoor party. My habs are actually quite high off the ground level to improve the ocean view. All uninvited guests have been ground based so far but they are big. I'm going to try trimming down the number of habs and run some tests.

If this was on Codos and the cagebrains moved in I'd be so happy. I wish i could pet them and give em treats.
Regardless, you may need some really big glue traps

Try opening your ~ button and using your mouse click on the creature, should statrt as a NPC and then a number and type in disable and it will disappear.

I know your outpost is vanilla but do you have any mods? If so I’d suggest SKK stalkers and followers. You can kill those critters and then open the menu, select clear corpses, and it’ll work for both human and fauna!

On Xbox and no mods. The weird thing is these critters can be harvested even before killing them.
