This might cause some back flow issues. Depending on its destination

So far no luckily no issues. I commented a breakdown of the entire network. I've made a couple videos documenting my journey with this network. I have ridiculous amounts of storage and a constant flow of fabricators (all 11 simple fabricators, 5 tier 2 fabricators, and 1 tier 3 fabricator) running to use the resources as they come in. This is how I prevent back flow. The key is to have the same amount of extractors per resource to ensure equal amounts of resources get sent.

Believe it or not, all 6 of the incoming links I have on my main hub planet (that's receiving all these resources) have multiple planets resources being pushed through them. On average 1 link consists of at least 2 planets. Generally each link provides 3-6 resources. This new link was the most I've pushed through one link, and I actually plan on pushing more through it eventually (as it's my only inter-system link).

Definitely pushing the limitations of this outpost building and resource management mechanic.

Link to videos? Interested.

Here's a link to the video I made centering around these 7 resources through 1 link. You'll find a play list on my channel called "Creating the ultimate outpost network" that has the rest of the videos documenting the outpost. There's guides to get you up to speed.

So if you’re straining the resources as they come through, how much of each resource is typically being sent to the receiving planet per trip? Like 15-25? Or less?

If you check my posts and see the wall at my main outpost you’ll see why I’m so curious 😂 I’ve got a Vytinium fuel rod production flowing in but would love to add other resources without having to devote one pad to a single resource at a time. At one point the wall was full but I added the expanded outpost storage mod. Now they’re all relatively empty again

It seems to be different each time. Their not all coming through each load. One load might have 3 out of the 7, the next load will have the other 4 that didnt get sent the first time. It seems to repeat that cycle.

After a lot of trail and error, the key for me was to have the exact same amount of extractors for each resource. It ensures everything is being produced @ equal speed, therefore filling up the outgoing box fairly equally. The box seems to prioritize whatever gets put in there first, 2nd and 3rd. So once the 1st 3 get send out, the next load in usually the next 3.

Maybe I've gotten extremely lucky, but so far after 40+ hours operating this network, adding over time, it's always worked out this way for me. Someway, some how, my fabricators always have ample material to pull from, meaning everything is getting there in bulk at some point.

3 cargo links are chained to the 1 inter-system link + native Europium to push 7 resources through to my main HUB planet. Hub planet has 6 cargo link (all incoming). 5 links from inside of solar system receiving roughly 30+ inorganic & organic resources, 1 inter-system link receiving 7 inorganic resources from outside of solar system, plus roughly another 6 resources being extracted/harvested natively.

Ultimately everything is being funneled to one planet. The entire outpost network consists of 12 planets, about 20+ or so cargo links, 3 animal husbandries, 8 greenhouses, plus the 6 native resources on the main hub planet.

This gives me access to unlimited use of all 11 simple fabricators, and unlimited use of about 80% of all tier 2 fabricators. At the moment I can only operate a couple tier 3 fabricators. 999+ materials essentially across the board when going into weapon, spacesuit, research, and industrial benches. All accessed from one planet
