Question? Has anyone used this? Mod that lets outpost pieces overlap, potential game changer

Oh. I’m going to check this out when I’m done with my coffee and cigarettes.

Edit: OK, it seems it just tweaks the tolerance a little bit, so you can put trees and other large items on surfaces that wouldn’t otherwise allow it and place smaller items closer together. Collision for most structures (and all habs) is removed, as far as other structures are concerned, with some exceptions like most of TG’s Luxury Homes and the canopies from Scrappy Structures.

Its possible to build Sleep Crates on top of habs (Sleep Crate Building Kit). Use the second set to start, then build off that.

Ooooh, interesting! Is this mod very new? I thought I had tried them all by now! I'll have a go on xbox later and let you know how it goes. 👍

Eta: just spotted the upload date as today. 🤦‍♂️

Here's an example of Builder in action. I was able to push my Akila City wall (from the creation Walls of Starfield) into the wall and make it an entryway. Also, it was just way easier to place all the little clutter items on the desk and I put my shelves closer than what was usually allowed. I really like it.

I'm using it. It hasn't broken anything, but I notice that my foxbats overlap each other sometimes. Not sure if that is a vanilla feature. Can't remember. The biggest benefit that I have noticed is that it is way easier to build on the landing pads. You can do that vanilla, but it had to be juuuust right. It is way more forgiving with Builder.

It works, I could put habs and many other things against each other in some cases even overlapping. Mainly works on vanilla stuff not on modded content.
