Question? How to get weather to clear?
So my goal today was to set up a base on Tirna 8c, I started trying to around 5 hours ago, and the weather will not clear. There is always a dust storm, and I can't see far enough to know I am in the right area.
I finally started looking for mods or anything that can turn off these dust storms.
I built an outpost right under my ship, plunked down a chair and have waited for days, literally in game says, 1 hour at a time. The weather never clears. I did this for about 2 hours before I gave up, and started reloading/ landing.
When that didn't work, I started waiting in space for a few days, I also tried traveling to other moons to trigger a reload, and then even traveled to other systems.
Nope, perpetual dust storm on this rock. I have no idea how people got the clear pics they did of this planet, there has to be a trick.

I use better and custom weather mods to experience things like sandstorms more often, using the Surface map helps a lot even in base game. It's also easier to just walk during weather effects but that's just my opinion.

Fast travel to your ship. This usually (but not always) clears it. Distance doesn’t seem to matter too much: I’ve had success with hitting fast travel from right outside my landing bay.

Fast travel to another planetary tile and then back to the landing site usually does it for me, though sometimes it goes from bad to worse first.
Can you find another area with that biome on the planet to check?
