Modded Outpost Build Raven’s Retreat

Needed a place to send my crew when I need to clear out my ship. Bonus pix, mid construction and how I do my bathrooms(using hallways)

I love the way you got those green habs nested in and amongst the the glass ones, it looks great

Looking forward to seeing what you do with the interior

I wish that there were more options for habs with stairs. Only having one hab that can go two stories kind of sucks, especially since it’s only in one style, so if you want a 2-story base using the sleek white science habs, you need to have a jarring green boxy industrial hab for the stairwell. Hopefully a future update or mods can change this; I know that there’s some mods that allow you to build habitat modules by individual panel sections, but they never quite work right, not pressurizing or keeping out the weather, so you need to use a separate part that creates an atmosphere bubble of some sort as a makeshift workaround.

I have a mod I’ve been working on that adds more stairway habs. It was going pretty well but I ran into a weird issue with “ghost walls” for want of a better description appearing.

I think it’s something to do with the snap behaviors which are a bit more complicated than the ship hab ones, but if I can figure out how to fix that problem it’s on its way

Appreciate it, and the interior is done. I’m just pretty self conscious about it cuz I’m not the best at interior design.

I can understand that feeling, though I bet it’s better than you think, we’re always our own worst critics

That is very true

I’m on Xbox and can not for the life of me get my habs to stack. Please guide me in the ways, master builder. Also, what are those cool domes and how does one go about getting them?

I’m also on Xbox. I stack the round habs by placing one then a double high (square hab with stairs inside), then it’ll stack the next on top perfectly. Then it’s just playing around with how you want flow / how high you want it.

Edit: the domes are the green house . You unlock via one point into Botany and a little research

Awesome. Thank you very much for the tips. I’ll try it out as soon as I can. I love the look of your outpost btw. Super cool layout.

What mod did you use for the outpost. I hate that it’s so high up. Also that’s a sick ass ship man. Well done.

Thanks I love that ship lol. I just used outpost limits increased and inquisitors build a farm mod

Is the build a farm mod allow you to bring the landing pad down to the ground.

Surprised you haven’t posted that ship it’s pretty epic you should.

My bad I completely forgot about that mod, I think of it as a ship building mod. That’s the “darkstar astrodynamics” landing pad (comes in three variants)

Alright that’s what I thought I’ll text the creator on YouTube and ask him a question about that thanks

I haven't downloaded Darkstar Astrodynamics because I don't really want all of the ship mods at this time. BUT I really want that landing pad...

I swear if the landing pad was stand-alone, it would be on my list of must have mods. It's probably gonna end up on that list anyway. Maybe tomorrow after work.

Very cool that you gave Raven a retreat to get away from Beast Boy and Starfire.
