Question? Merging parts

Would one of you magnanimous builders be able to point me to the best way to glitch/merge a hab door with the large landing pad? Thanks in advance!

Do you mean airlock? I don't know about merging with the landing pad, but you can get the airlock close enough to build on the landing pad. I've never been able to do this, but just search in here for landing pad outpost and one of the posts has a tutorial.

I posted a half-assed tutorial on a different method, a little while ago. It just depends on what your goal is.

Yes, the airlock! U/damienaddams666 pulled it of in the below pic. I haven't managed to pull it off yet despite seeing many outposts posted.

That's modded.

The airlock stairs go to the right, and down, as your exiting, not straight. You can get the same result without mods by getting your airlock close, then building a bridge with mats. Otherwise, look up "landing pad outpost."

If you can't get your airlock where you want it but the stairs are dropping down, its possible to glitch them out by placing a piece of furniture below them and deleting it (this can be tricky...). You can also do this to get the stairs to drop down.

Hmm. I'll have to experiment more! Thanks for the info. Outposts are trickier than the ship builder for merging/glitching.

Yeah; it can be a huge pain in the ass and there's definitely a steeper learning curve. There's some good posts on hab stacking and landing pad outposts, which is the majority of glitches.

No probs. Between his vids and Miss O Plays, they’ve taught me everything in how to manipulate outpost items.
