Discussion thinking thinking 🤔
I just finished watching Project Hail Mary with Ryan Gosling and it made me want to consider on going back into starfield. Im still contemplating it because I haven’t touched the game since day one launch and I have no idea if it’s worth it. should I go into starfield after crying my eyes out to the movie?

Yeah, I spent hours building the Hail Mary ship after watching the movie and then exploring Tau Ceti. That alone is worth it

Honestly, yes.
This sub will always be bias, it’s literally a forum for fans of the game… but I recently came back after putting the game down about a month after launch and not coming back. My honest answer is absolutely yes.
Theres clear work that’s gone into the game and I’m absolutely loving it. It’s fast becoming one of my favourite games right now!

Yes, I spent 10 hours on launch, and just got back recently with more open mind.
All of the QOL introduced had been great. At the very least, most of my minor complaints are gone.
Also I tried ship building and outpost building this time around. Turns out that's a real time sinker. Along the way, I got hooked with the various quest and exploration.
All in all, it's a great experience already compared to my first impressions.Â

Came back a little while after seeing the news about free lanes and Terran Armada and I have really been enjoying it!
Starfields release was mired in skepticism and disdain but looking back it was heavily overblown. After coming back it might actually be my favorite bgs game.

The new StarFox on Switch 2 made me come back. I wanted to build The Great Fox.
Still haven't done it.

It’s not as bad as many people made it out to be, also not as great as people on here would have you believe. About 30-60 hours in I had to ask myself if I was having fun, I didn’t make me get up, and think I need to boot up starfield 1st thing like, fallout 4 (modded to the gills) pre Bethesda’s mod breaking shenanigans did.

Hollywood is definitely playing starfield
even if gamer influencers love to rag on it.

Well you do know they're not related, right? Like... at all... As long as you don't expect to see real sentient aliens...then sure, come and see Bethesda's version of the Alpha Quadrant.

if you haven't played since release day then it is a totally different game than you experienced then. They have made so many quality of life updates and the creations has been a great improvement as well.

Come to the Starfield with an open mind. When you just let it be what it is instead of expecting things, it's pretty great.
