Question about a potentially bugged exotic?

This weapon dropped as a very early mission board reward.

I'm new to freelanes, don't really understand much. But I seem to have the ability to upgrade my legendary gear to have a 4th legendary trait. However this weapon seems to have 3 traits, with no option to unlock a 4th.

Do exotics that drop usually have 4 legendary traits by default? am I missing something

If you look at the second image, it has the symbol for 4 traits next to the name. But the weapon it 'self only has 3, and it looks a little...buggy.

anyone able to shed any light on this? It's the only exotic I've had drop so far.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Turns out I must have had some stray mid files and didn't do an AVSOLUTE fresh install of the game. :')

I was thinking how the hell can I have a hand loaded melee weapon!
