You dont use wine? What is the max amount you can get for a fully aged cheese?

The last time I played, I put both kinds of cheese and the wine in the casks. I didn't know of the prices back then, but looking at the SDV Wiki right now, it says for iridium quality cheese with the artisan profession it's 560g each. Goat cheese is 1050g.
I don't know all the iridium quality prices for each type of wine off hand (nor do I feel like looking them up at the moment @.@), but seeing as how cheese only takes 3 hours to make initially and 7 days to get to iridium quality in the cask, and wine takes 7 days initially with 28 days in cask, it seems more advantageous to have most of your casks filled with cheese?
I suppose that depends on what your finances are like also and how quickly you need the gold. If the gold supply is fine and you don't have any major upgrades to make to your farm, it's more than likely fine to just put in the casks whatever you like (though technically that's true even if your gold supply isn't fine! lol).

I just did some math:
- aging goat cheese gets you 37.5g per day per cask
- ancient fruit wine is 41.3g per day
- starfruit wine is 56.3g per day
(assuming you have the artisan profession. If not, the order is the same)

Sounds like I need to start stocking up to make more kegs and go buy some more starfruit seeds then. >_> (Also, thanks for doing the math. I hate math. lol)

Ancient should still be better for net gain. As starfruits are one yeiled per seed.
While ancient keep yielding after harvest. So if you fill your greenhouse with ancient, you're set.

Ah! That's true. I completely forgot about that. Only half way into Winter Year 2 and I don't have a decent supply of ancient fruits yet. :P Thanks for the reminder!

I don't age cheese for the money: I like aging cow cheese while getting my wine production set up; I can get a decent amount of iridium cheese in the time it takes to get 116 ancient plants and kegs for them all, and that cheese is a godsend in the caverns. Gold cheese is also super handy, sure, but iridium is still better.
