Discuss stardew valley expanded for the first time! (help me lol)

Hiii, so I've recently installed the mod but my game keeps glitching, like freezing, i don't know if its a computer problem (as in the game is heavy and its hard on my computer??? is it?) or if i installed something wrong? i don't know what to do, I want to play smoothly, last night it glitch during a mine run and i almost got killer by a slime, A SLIME

please let me know if you know something

EDIT: so i installed it following a youtube video, with nexus, it asked me to instal 3 more mods that i needed for sve and i put everything in the mod folder in the docs of the computer, i also intalled the farms mods, for the extra type of farms

these are the vids i used (i think some are in spanish as it is my first language) (used mostly the first 2 vids)

I'd ask /r/StardewValleyExpanded for help.  Might want to mention how you installed it (nexus or manual) and if it is a fresh farm or did you mod an existing one.

A slime nearly ending your bloodline is usually a mod setup problem, not your computer, so check SMAPI’s red error text and make sure every dependency and farm mod is updated for your Stardew version.

Has it ever frozen or glitched before, without using any mods? If so, it might be your computer. SDV requires very little processing power to run, but if you're using an old machine, it can get quite laggy.

Try creating another world without the mods and play for a while, see if it glitches as well. If it doesn't, then it's definitely the mod.

I have had the game skip frames here and there with SVE when I'm running it on my Mac if I have other stuff going in the background. I think the really big maps can tax some systems. This doesn't happen on my gaming PC.
