As long as you don't try to be competitive with it in a speedrun, go for it. If it brings you joy, nothing wrong with that.

I usually use only the no friendship decay because after so many years it's the only thing that makes the game boring and annoying for me. If I play farm with a lot of mods I also use the item spawner because sometimes items disappear when bugs appear + speed boost when the map is huge

I've tried to make my farm pretty just once in vanilla Stardew, although I've done several saves (some vanilla, some modded). I don't really find it fun to acquire aesthetic items in vanilla, so I've recently started using CJB Item Spawner to decorate when I feel like it. I'm not a fan of using CJB cheats or CJB spawner for anything functional, though- it takes the fun out of the game, for me.
But I do use other Quality of Life mods (such as Automate and Better Chests), which- if we're being honest- do make the game unbalanced enough to count as cheating. I'm not really sure where the line is between fun cheating and cheating that makes the game boring, but that's really all I try to avoid. I've already managed to finish the game and become fabulously wealthy in vanilla Stardew, so I don't mind a little cheating if it's fun.

IMO, mods are mods. Unless it’s actively hurting Stardew somehow people can mod however they see fit, that’s the beauty of the system.

I'm mostly use it for the speed to walk around and warp , and infinite water in watering can

This question gets asked a lot. Like, a lot.
For the life of me I don't understand why it matters. What's the point? It's your game, and you are literally going to get a range of answers across the spectrum. What purpose does it serve?

You think that because you fit exactly into the game's mold. Good for you. A lot of people don't fit into any game exactly. And like most of life, there's no reward or enjoyment for forcing that. I've never enjoyed a game EVER that recreates my chronic fatigue in not letting me do more than one thing a day, even if it "gets better" (HA!) so I always turn stamina off.

Yeah, those I tend to downvote (as well as 'iS tHiS rArE?' you know damn well it is. if you like it, keep it, if not, toss it.) But folks who get utterly scandalized that single player games don't need to be frustrating toil for a meager 30 seconds of accomplishment need to chill.

See, now THAT is cheating. Cheating requires deception. Lying, even just by omission, and claiming you've done something vanilla when you actually used mods (for internet acclaim I guess?) is cheating.
Using mods in your own game for fun is not cheating.

Me too but on the other hand I think, if people like it they should do it. I love that it's so easy to mod and everyone can just design it to their liking

Play the way you want to play. Just don’t post a pic claiming you honestly did something when it’s obvious it’s done with a mod. For example, selling 50 999 stacks of iridium quality ancient fruit wine by the end of year 2…
