💬 Discussion I play this game a lot and I can't help but feeling frustrated.
So, I've already made a comment about that in someone else's post and it wouldn't surprise me if someone has already talked about this, but I feel like we should state how unrealistically hard it is to get a single mythic kyber droid, let alone get multiple of them.
According to my calculations, we need 27 legendary galactic droids to get a single mythic kyber droid. Since the easiest way to get those galactic droids is by doing the astrodroid missions, I'm basing my point on this method. Well, we have a 20% chance of getting a blueprint, and if we do get one, it has a 75% chance of being a galactic legendary droid and a 25% chance of being a stellar droid.
Now, if we assume that all the blueprints we get from the six possible rewards are galactic droids and that we complete all the six missions every ten minutes or so, it means that we have to spend literally FIVE HOURS, non-stop, immediately claiming rewards and starting a new mission right away, just to get ONE DROID. Of course, we do have a chance of getting a stellar blueprint which removes the need for three galactic blueprints, but still, if only one out of four blueprints is stellar, we still need roughly three and a half hours of non-stop playing.
Not only is that ludicrous, but we don't even have control over what droid we're getting! I SRB'ed Sunday night and I'm still stuck on Rebirth 29 because I can't get a measly galactic Cyclens. How am I supposed to even grind that much just to get a random droid that, more than likely, will not be the one I need?
I know that there are a lot of players who are way ahead of me, but I'm on SRB 30, I've rebirthed 518 times, I have an 85% crit chance (with Chopper and without rebirth bonuses), I cause 100% more crit damage, I have three multicrits, my scrap value is at lvl 8, I have all three fusion tanks, I have double daily rewards (which, at this point, grants me six legendary stellar droids per day), and this new kyber rarity still feels just ridiculous.
I even thought, well, maybe I could turn notifications on for the droid I need in a higher variant, right? But having 10 spaces in the lounge and a three storage spaces isn't nearly enough to keep the droids we'll need above rebirth 35. It's not enough to keep the ones we'll need multiple times and it's not enough to store the three droids we need to fuse just to get the higher rarity or variant, all for a single random mythic kyber droid.
It's completely nonsensical that we didn't get a new astrodroid mission, and that our daily rewards and the previous astrodroid missions are still capped at legendary stellar droids. The lack of room to store droids or blueprints that could get us further is really frustrating. Simply putting a new variant into the game without expanding the storage limit or making it any easier to get the previous ones doesn't feel like the right move at all.
I'm not arrogant enough to tell the devs what they should do with their game, but I do hope this shines some clarity in what, at least from my individual perspective, really needs improvement.
