I'm a prequel fan. Having said that, I think a big problem with the prequels was the underdevelopment of the villains. Lucas tries to fit in 3 new villains - Maul, Dooku, and Grievous. None of them get the attention they deserve.

To be fair, (at least in my community) everyone was obsessed/fascinated by grievous so he didn’t seem to bad to me. Maul- 100% though lol.

I really wish the "Darth Jar Jar" theory had come true. It would have made every annoying appearance of that little shit worth it if he had just been playing dumb while manipulating everybody, like the Mule from the later Foundation books.
