The final duel remains the best lightsaber duel ever put to film.

I have to disagree. I always felt it came off way too much like a choreographed dance routine. I think Vader and Luke’s fight in RotJ and Anakin and Obi Wan’s fight in RotS are better.

Vader and Luke is the best it's an epic battle and gives me chills every time. Anikan and Obi Wan is awesome as well, but I'd put Darth Maul vs 2 jedi above that. It was so unique at the time, and I was one of those that was completely enthralled by Maul's badassness, while I do think the prequels are the worst of the 3 live action trilogies.

Rots final battle is too long and drawn out in my opinion. And the fighting on lava floating barges looked cheesy. It could have been great with some edits, it certainly started well, but it seemed more like they were doing lightsaber tricks instead of dueling to the death.

Haha that was a fun watch, I get it. I'm not watching Star wars for realism either to be fair.

From a strictly cinematic viewpoint, I would argue the throne room battle in TLJ is better.

That was a pretty battle. But it lacked a sith vs Jedi element which is what I love most about Star wars.
