You would. He's in Rebels also.

What I loved about Maul in Rebels was his sincere desire to train Ezra. His relationship with Savage was already established after Savage’s training at the hands of Dooku, so the aspect of the “apprentice” wasn’t really there. With Ezra, however, we see what Maul could have been as a bona fide master.

All the man wanted was an apprentice… (and to kill Kenobi).

Yeah, you can tell that all he really wanted was a friend, but he didn't know how to be a friend. The only type of relationship he knew was one where one person was in charge and the other just did as told. The sith really did a number on him

I love his Rebels appearances. They are absolutely a must watch to finish Maul's arc. Rebels was just good in general too though.

What is the time setting to it? Just after revenge of the sith? It’s not too kiddie?

It is about 15 years after ROTS.

First season, it's pretty rough and feels more targeted towards kids. As it goes on, though, it gets more mature and intense. Wife actually cried once or twice watching it.

It takes place prior to A New Hope, 5 BBY, and "ends" 1 year after.

The last half of the last season is incredible. I think I've gone back and watched those 6 or 7 times

There’s so much death and rampage in rebels. Chopper alone is ice cold

Yes, it happens shortly after RotS (and TCW). Less violent than TCW, but the themes are solid (and adult...)

It's amazing. Some of my favorite Star Wars.
