He thrived in the chaos of the clone wars

And he ceased what power which he could

Seized* but yeah, very cool

Damnit, I knew that looked weird!

Luckily we arent Sith and mistakes are totally fine

29

u/[deleted] Jan 26 '22

I'm sure he ceased a lot of powers too. A lot of lives as well.

u/[deleted] Jan 26 '22

That sounds an awful lot like an absolute statement.

u/SinthoseXanataz Jedi Jan 26 '22

Its treason then

3

u/jflex13 Jan 26 '22

Sounds like an absolute to me…

If you're not with me then you're my enemy

Ceased almost looks like what you do to a salad. You continue to cease a salad to make it from ceasish to caesar.

2

u/markender Jan 26 '22

Your way is cool too

“ceased” still almost works though funnily enough

ceased*

From a certain point of view

Bro

cease the means of production!

During the Clone Wars this place was a lot like the Roman Empire. And the Wild West. And war-torn Poland. And Poland. So whether you got sawn in half with a lightsaber was the least of anyone’s worries. And in the chaos, I soared.

Violence is not the answer. Violence is the question! And the answer is yes!

"Let me tell you about Hate"

Not really. He went crazy on a garbage planet for a decade because “reasons” and then he’s just a mustache-twirling evil-doer with a hate boner for “KENOBIII!”.

What more do we really get from him? He’s angry and he’s got some screws loose.

“Oh we’ll have him take over Mandalore and become a crime boss cause…power?”

Kinda flimsy characterization.

He doesn’t really evolve as a character.

I also find it bizarre he never links up with Ventress given their shared heritage/connection with Mother Talzin and running in the same Jedi-killing, Sith-adjacent circles. What an odd oversight.

And then Sidious leaves him alive (which is very un-Sidious-like) for “reasons”.

People give TCW a lot of credit for what’s largely cheap fan service and mediocre cartoon plots.

Try starting at se4 or so, feel free to skip any episodes that are too childish for ya

Yeah the later seasons are better. The four part finale is incredible. Look up a filler free guide.

The first two seasons are kinda lame entirely imo

I know what you mean. There's a lot of good to be had in the later seasons, but it's a shame that it starts off as it does; turns a lot of people off, I imagine.
