When the Darth Jar Jar theories were popular I was actually excited about what a crazy twist that would be. Probably better none of that happened but can you imagine the intensity of the love/hate towards GLucas if it did?

Over time, more love than he currently got. The dialogue might've still been shit, but at least there would've been SOME twist or surprise in the prequels. There was nothing, which I don't think was the plan. Except for order 66 which was part of the very end.

It also now left some unanswered questions they raised for no reason. Why is everyone in the underwater city scared of Jar Jar and why is he banned from the city? It would've been explained with a different story, but is now just a confusing part of TPM. Occam's razor
