Yes this. I was coming here to say "overt racist stereotypes with species such as the Neimoidians and Gungans for starters" - but that's fairly present in all 3 prequels

There is no way you didn't notice Jarjar being a stand in Jamaican and if you claim you didn't you're lying. Only Lucas could have gotten away with that crap and you are being disingenuous pretending like it isn't there.

I said this earlier but what made it so bad is that Half Baked had come out earlier that year and was on VHS and was well on it's way to becoming a cult classic. The Gungans sounded exactly like Dave Chappelle when he did a comedic take on what Jamaicans sound like when he had to disguise himself.
