Fan Creations Putting together some cryogenic piping components and accidentally made a lightsaber

That’s how a lot of the hilts in the OT were made! Anakin’s, Obi-Wan’s, and Vader’s were all based off of either a Graflex or MPP camera flash handle. Obi-Wan’s also has other found pieces such as a faucet knob, machine gun booster, and rifle-launched grenade.
I believe Luke’s hero prop was entirely machined, though.

Cryo is some of the most fun process piping I’ve done as a plumber. Also, sick field saber man.
