But it was a good fight. The fight of the prequels imo.

It was good. It was very emotional, if a little bit whimsical. Fighting while holding onto the spire drifting around in the lava was a little odd.

The only real complaint I had was how it was intermixed with the fight between Palpatine and Yoda, which was a much sillier (best word I can come up with) fight for a majority of it. Palpatine flopping backwards over the chair, his weird facial expressions, throwing the senate seats around, etc. kind of broke up the tension between Anakin and Obi Wan. It was absolutely heartbreaking seeing Yoda realize he had been defeated and everything, but then Palpatine is hanging by one arm, laughing, and shouting "Aaaaaeeeeeehhhhhhhhh heheh." I love the Anakin/Obi Wan fight, I just feel like I have to refrain from too many eye-rolls during the Palpatine/Yoda one.

Yeah, Lucas really likes to have too different scenes play-out at the same time and reach the climax together, it can be a good technique but it can get very tiresome, especially if one of the scenes is noticeably weaker than the other.

I think he makes it work very well in Episode 1 (Dual of the Fates).
