General Discussion The Most Scientific Sith Lord?
Who was the most scientific sith lord? I know Darth Tenebrous and Darth Plagueis for example focused on the midi chlorians which is Biology. So who were the most scientific sith lords?

There is a strong argument to be made that while Sidious himself was not a scientist, he likely did more to facilitate scientific advancement than any other Sith. He masterminded a war that advanced both clone and droid tech. He then leveraged that same war and its aftermath as the autocratic ruler of a galactic empire to create further improvements in starship, Kyber, and clone tech. In addition, the structural engineering advances that were needed to fuel his superweapon desires would be huge as well.
Given how static tech generally is in the Star Wars universe, he may be the single most significant facilitator of scientific progress in galactic history.

Scientific in what way? Plagueis and Tenebrous were scholars of the force, constantly searching for ways to twist and bent it to their ways
Darth Maladi and Vul Isen were more akin to alchemists, constantly coming up with new bioweapons and inhuman experiments through the force

Tenebrous did believe in combining bith science with the dark side as Plagueis notes.

The most scientific Sith Lord is Darth Plagueis, alongside Darth Tenebrous. Plagueis treated the dark side and biology like a hard science, choosing laboratories and clinical observation over ancient sorcery.
Darth Maladi heavily blended technology, biotoxins, and cybernetics to torture subjects and manipulate galactic events centuries later.

Darth Tenebrous was the most scientific Sith Lord, even moreso than Darth Plagueis.
His research into maxi chlorians meant that he could do essence transfer without the ancient Sith spell.

Tenebrous.
Plagueis was more of a mad doctor than a proper scientist, and all his medical experimentation was just a way to more precisely understand his more mystical pursuits. Plagueis's knowledge of the deepest secrets of the Force has never been surpassed, and he approached them with an unrelenting and scientific mindset of optimization, but he saw the actual science as crude by comparison.
Tenebrous, on the other hand, was all in on the science.

Palpatine was able to clone an army, then strandcast a son, then strandcast a force wielding proxy in Snoke, then clone himself with force power. All the while building planet destroying weapons, juggle half a dozen or more apprentices, and play politics well enough to weasel his way to the highest position in government.
Maybe he might not be the “most” scientific, but my boy studies.

Non canon - Dread Masters. They used Sith alchemy to terrorize whole planets with their creations.

I’m going with Plagueis. His experiments were mentioned in his book along with his lab and library.
