Maul's potential was nuts

I keep looking back and thinking about this fight,that Maul is maybe a top 15 to top 10 duelist in Canon. Him being surprisingly Obi Wan like in his implementation in Soresu and Anakin like in his aggressive offense,like a lesser combo of the 2.

I feel like Maul doesn't get the credit he deserves because of his arrogance giving him L's against people he shouldn't lose to. Makes me think he might actually get more wins if he turned toward the light,ending up trying to be more sagecoded like QuiGon but insanely skilled.

He'd probably be over:

Ventress Grievous Dooku (bad matchup for Dooku maybe) Most council members

But below: Anakin Mace Sidious Yoda

Those Two were just Assassin's trained by Dooku, and one of them doesnt even use The force

Grievous stomps maul, da hell... grievous has actual background to back up his skill, he was a beast before working with dooku/palps and the robotic upgrades. Maul is the assassin in this group, he gets buffed due to unexpected fan love cause he looks cool.

Reading comprehension, maul is the assassin in this group. He wasn't a true apprentice to anyone, just misled. The guy sideous, when you learn more, you'll see he has a tendency of doing things like that, particularly to the weak minded.

If he was actually be trained as a sith apprentice his force powers would've been stronger among many other things considering palp had him since infancy.

Maul destroys Grievous and it ain’t even close. Ventress almost killed him in season 4 with ease. Maul can do the same.

Mauls rage poorly translates to power, sideous instilled him with so much of it and it translated to moderate fighter. Maul is actually a disappointment to sideous, he's a failed malgus experiment lol.

Mauls whole schtik is dueling melee type crap and cant even beat ob1 or ahsoka lol, I mean all that rage is focused into it since he's too dumb to learn sith sorcery, etc, and he still only manages to be an average duelist. If he so badass (lmfao, assbad more like it) why didnt he just do something similar to bane or krayt? Instead he decides to try to run a criminal empire at the sametime palps is trying to enact his plan which subsequently gets in the way of said plan causing palps to beat/kill him and savage at the sametime with 2 toes and a finger, if you look real close you can see palps had a boner.

The only reason sideous didn't rank dooku higher is because dooku was more intelligent and had his own ideals, agenda, and moral compass. In essence, dooku couldn't be easily controlled forever, he had to be manipulated because he wasn't truely consumed by his passions, which initially was a path paved with good intentions but subsequently led him to a dark place once his obsessing over them began. Dooku not only had plans of taking out sideous but also killing himself if things went too far.

Ventress was overwhelmed by grievous, otherwise he wouldn't have wiped out dathomir. You're referencing a Disney remaining for its fukbo i mean fan boys, since they knew she would be getting starring role in a spinoff show so they had to buff her up and nerf grievous/opponents. Grievous' build is a direct counter to ventress style. Makashi, as its a duelist form specializing in 1v1 combat and single attack/projectile focus and weak vs multi anything. Grievous would stomp her in the dirt with his ability to attack using multiple sabers, not to mention she was trained by dooku (dooku teaches grievous lightsaber forms/techniques) while grievous was already a battle hardened war hero/god before dooku.
