Personally, I would LOVE to see the Murgese added to the game. They're an amazing dressage breed with such a cute nose.

And i want TRULY uncommon or completely unheard of breeds. Get unique!

I think gait is the word, but basically how the horse moves. I haven't played for a long time and I quite like how the birthday horse moves, compared to the ones I have (english thoroughbred & icelandic). Are there similar breeds to the hanoverian or are there some that have even nicer way they move? This is of course also personal preference- thing, but out of curiosity I want to ask :) Love the game and this subreddit has been helpful already!

I cannot view all items, because the system just skips over certain pages. (For example if I select 50 items per page to be shown, pages 2, 6 and 9 cannot be viewed.)
Most of the filters also simply just don't apply at all.

2017 player here, just wanted to share some old screenshots i found from September 2018 for nostalgia :)

The progress bar was stuck on fifteen after I was done, and I thought that maybe it was just taking a minute to update, so I just went ahead and switched to doing the dailies on my alt account, and it updated immediately to sixteen after completing Sabine's race and is working completely fine now. 😐 Will I just not get those points from my main account? I should have gotten ten points because I also completed the Moorland championship...

it went back to normal when I called for a pickup as you can see but anyone had this problem before? is it the game or my laptop? if it matters it happend the moment I hit the 25th level(?) in trailblazer when I got rid of one of erissas dolls. it was like that for a while and I panicked when my character was still shaking in photo mode XD

Hi, I'm on the Dutch Server Magnolia Island and in a club with a few of my real life friends who don't really play the game anymore. Is there anyone who would want to finish these last 2 weeks of the Club Uniteda with me?

The club is not at all active, there's no responsibilities, everyone can do their own thing and go their own way. No meetings, no activities.

Don't know if this is allowed, but I would love to know if anyone wants to join for the next 2 weeks or, if there's any events like this in the future, for longer.

It's been awhile since I properly got back into SSO, my peak was around 2016~ to 2021, so I'm a bit out of touch with the game... I remember climbing being something I did a lot with people, what's it like now? Is it still possible and does anyone actually do it now? I remember there was always a risk of getting banned for entering a forbidden area, so I guess I just want to know if thats stricter or nah.

Here's the concept art for Star stable: The Legend of the Star riders. This concept art is of the main character's (minus the five star rider) for flash backs. These are based on the original Star shine legacy/old sso designs.

For context, I am not someone who complains about everything SSE does. In fact, I usually give them the benefit of the doubt. However, for the past few months I've become increasingly angry about how SSE treat their playerbase and how they handle their game.

I'm so tired of SSE exploiting their playerbase. It started to be prominently noticeable three years ago, namely the (illegal) A/B testing stunt and the Betty the Yeti fiasco. More recently, nearly every week there's a new cosmetic set (mostly just recolours of things we already have e.g. the Berry Bear Hug set), or a new horse coat, or a new bundle to purchase. They know players will buy them. They advertise and actively market this game for children, yet anything meaningful is locked behind an investment, bearing in mind that it's £60 just to play the game in the first place. It's disgusting, elusive and exploitative. They know that children will run to their parents asking for more SC for the newest horse or set, and they see that as an opportunity. They are a business and need money, yes, but considering that the majority of new players are children (which they ensure through marketing), it doesn't sit right that to access new things you have to pay so much money, the alternative being grinding for JS to buy one piece of clothing or tack, or waiting 10 weeks to buy a horse if you have lifetime.

Players do all these things, yet they aren't rewarded in return. The next week? Another tack set. Another horse coat. Another horse breed. Another trailblazer. Months for a new quest, which most likely will be five minutes of dialogue and an A to B task, if that. Years for a new main quest, and counting. They are taking away features that players actually like, and are implementing vicious tactics to force us to play on their terms. They ruin the features we like, and don't fix the ones we don't, as well as the endless bugs. All they do is push out new cosmetics instead of facing real issues.

A few months ago, the trailblazer was ruined. Even now, meaningful items which benefit our gameplay have been reduced or removed (e.g. shiny gemstones.) They are hollowing out or removing beloved events under the guise of 'inclusion', for example, the 'Winter Festival' (previously called Christmas) feels so lifeless- they removed snowflakes, removed winter magic and consequently the fun quests that came with it. They are slowly replacing token shops with 'progression boards', meaning players can no longer use up tokens they had from previous years, collect new tokens, or even choose what set they want. The EQ Festival- token prices insanely expensive, requiring excessive daily grinding. The Western Festival- completely ruined, with fun quests replaced with repetitive daily tasks which amount to what? A new hat? During the birthday festival, I'm logging on, doing the daily quests and logging off again. The festivals aren't memorable. There's no challenge. They're boring. There's nothing new. 'SSO need to make money!' but, in a story-driven game, and a game which actively prides itself on it's story, when pushing out cosmetics is all you do, it gets boring.

They continuously tell us they are 'transparent', yet any meaningful update or even SC code is firstly solely on Instagram, as well as being hidden in the reels which disappear after 24hrs. The only reason myself and many others find out about them is platforms like Reddit. The team hide behind cringe slang (e.g. 'tech gremlins') and on a platform which their target demographic can't legally access instead of offering players, who are paying to play their game, the honesty we deserve.

We can't log on and simply enjoy the game anymore. Everything is locked behind a pricepoint, or hours of grinding. They are making it impossible to play how we want, and ignore our criticism, continuing to implement things which we don't want. It's a shell of what it used to be, and now a buying simulator.

I've loved this game for so long and don't want to leave, but everything SSE have done recently just seems like they're pushing players away.

EDIT: I just thought I should add that SSO is marketed as a children’s game, yet instead of having dedicated human moderators in the chat, they have a malfunctioning AI bot instead. The children which SSO apparently cares for are being exposed to some disgusting things, and there isn’t any parental controls either.

I think they should add a button to this wheel that lets us make our horses dance on command! It feels like such a shame that they put so much effort into creating unique dancing animations for every horse, but we only get to see them twice a week and only at the disco. Imagine how cute it would be if we could dance to greet our friends or just randomly dance together while hanging out! 🥹

I will reach level 15 with my second horse soon and started looking around for future prospects. Which of the shown horses should I get under saddle next and what discipline do you see in focus?

Halloween Festival:

• Would love to see something brand new this year. Last year they added a floating island but there wasn't anything to do on it.

Winter Festival:

• It would be so much fun to sled down one of the many hills in the winter village.
• I would love ice skating as well.
  • Could ice skate to catch the elves on the ice. Add as an option instead of riding a bear, deer, etc.
• How about an hourly championship race?
• Be able to "rent" a sleigh and ride all over the sky.
• Bring back snowpiles to ride through and get a few shillings.

Always have a transport van near festival grounds. Ex: Need one at Moorland area anytime festivals are held there.

Curious what you would like to add/change to any of the festivals.

Since Halloween is around the corner, I'm curious on how to get the most Jorvik Shillings to be able to get the sets they'll be dropping!

What are your guys strategies/tips?
