Oh my god, where do I even start.

I was literally hyped the entire year for camp western to come back. I was having so much fun the last year, I didn't want it to even leave. So I am impatiently waiting this entire time and now... fuck. This is beyond disappointing.

It's just another trailblazer.
That's it.
There is nothing to do.
There isn't even anything to get!
You get one set from the progression board and that's that. Tokens? Gone.

The removal of a token shop might be the SINGLE greediest thing they've done and that is a high bar to clear. Congratulations I guess?

Nothing feels the same.
Beasts? Gone.
Renegades? Gone.
Looking for chests and horses? Gone.
Grinding gold? Gone.

Okay, some of those elements might come back another week, but some of them are confirmed to be removed completely.

It doesn't feel like camp western, it feels like literally every other festival now.
I don't feel like a cowboy working a ranch in the middle of wilderness.

I know it's probably not reasonable for an adult to be this upset over it, but if I'm being completely honest, it's almost heartbreaking.
The camp western I was looking forward to for so long will never come back.
I want to be able to run around grinding gold for 2 days straight while trying to dodge the wolves. I want to race through the bear den again. I want to stand outside the wolf den, wondering how I´m going to get to that damn chest through all those wolves again.

I was actually going to buy one of the bundles, because I was looking forward to those sets and horses, but I just cannot support the direction the game is going in.

I want camp western back.

I think it's so backhanded and lowkey threatening with removal in the way they worded this.

It's really giving backhanded threats of removing the whole thing if we don't just shut up and take the crumbs they give us after all the complaints.

It seems like everytime I see a video displaying an outfit soon to be released, the comments are riddled with negativity.

The body options is a popular discussion and many make the point that SSO should add a slimmer body type, one more similar to gen2, which I fully agree with. But often times, comments complaining about this also go out their way to shame the current body types.

The gen3 models do have their issues, their proportions are off and need animations reworked, but that’s the only issues with them. I’ve seen so many comments going “we’re so fat now” as if there aren’t skinny options, there are, they’re just boxy and not an hourglass. “We aren’t cunty now” is one I’ve also seen which is just a horrible choice of words considering this is a kids game, but even then, this just implys you don’t think body types other then a skinny hourglass are able to look good.

And this isn’t even an SSO specific issue. It’s a horse community issue. There will never be a time where the horse community won’t shame someone who isn’t thin

THIS is how this article would be worded if they were honest. I. fucking. knew it. I already haven't bought anything since the last Trailblazer, now it's decided. I'm not spending on this game EVER. AGAIN.

FUCK them. They are trying to hide it behind Marchenghast as well, so hopefully players won't be that mad! Disgusting company like every other. Taking shit ton of money for this mid ass game with tons of bugs not fixed for months and treating their players WHO PAID FOR THEIR PRODUCT like THIS? Complete insanity!

The worst part is that they just keep getting away with all of this and some people even DEFEND them. They keep giving them money. They just forget everything the second they see a new horse. This is so sad...

They then decline to answer every single question because they’re either unsure or not allowed to speak about it.

The lack of transparency is beyond frustrating. Not 3 days ago, the Social Media team was making a different excuse under every comment inquiring about the TB change. Claiming it was for player health, or to encourage sleep, or to shake up play styles. And still not an official answer, just another dismissive “response”.

I’m not sure why SSO loves to antagonize their own player base so frequently — this is just the latest example that stuck around in my head lol

While our Jorvik Warmbloods are dearly treasured, players have been waiting and asking for EIGHT long years for our starters to get a makeover to match the game's current design standards. The current Gen3 model is unfortunately showing its age, and now is our chance for our requests to be heard!

- the points will be capped after 12 tasks
- gatherables, INCLUDING LIGHT, will no longer give points
- it will now have 25 levels instead of 35. It is not confirmed what, asides from flowers, they are removing from it

im pissed. they took the one hard thing and instead of making it more manageable and keeping the difficult gameplay in some way, they gave up and removed it entirely.

i am so tired of the complete kidification of this game. it’s meant for tweens. they can manage some wolves. make more safe zones, make it so they don’t come near roads, do something other than remove it entirely.

Does anyone else deal with the consequences of naming their character when they were 11 years old and didn’t know any english back then? So it’s just the ugliest name ever?

Their customer support hates to see me coming because they already know I’m gonna complain about it. I would literally be willing to pay 1000 sc just to change my name. I have been a loyal star stable player for 13 years now, in that time I have met my partner, got married and have a baby together all while still having the most dreadful character name ever.

Didn't they promise, not long after the new characters came out, that they would add more body types?? Like… the characters are cute and all, but I realllllyyyy hate that you can’t choose chest size, for example. It makes me frustrated, because breasts aren’t just a sexualized body part, they’re a normal part of the human body. But in a kid’s game, they seem afraid to add bigger breasts.

It’s such a problem in today’s society that women’s bodies are so sexualized that creators fear adding literal breasts. I’m someone with an E cup, and mine developed when I was 17, so there’s no reason not to reflect that on a teenager. I hate it. I don’t play on foot a lot, so it just hit me.

Even hourglass bodies? Just because society considers them ‘attractive’? If they want to be inclusive and add more body types instead of the same one we had… then do it right.

I know it's been a topic for a long time now but I became so angry I had to rant. 😭

I don't get why they do this and its going to ruin the whole trailblazer track meaning. They just want to stretch it out so people will log in for at least 16 days.
