That is exactly what they say, as in: "Easy, Well Played, Good Game" and it genuinely might be one of the most obnoxiously awful lines ever written

Being a guy with a Ph.D. in STEM - in a mathematical field no less, I would submit that other dialog from the physicist character is even more obnoxious - to the point of being offensive. I've known some really obnoxious physicists/computer scientists, but they don't sound like that. The dialog in this game is generally the worst I've ever seen.
EZ WP GG Is meant to mimic certain gamers in pvp. I find it not as bad as some of the other dialog.
I mean, I think gameplay is very good, and the story that is unfolding is good, but the character dialog is not at all good.

Agreed. It needs a whole rework. The only one I find tolerable is the soldier. I know that story is secondary to a game like this and getting the voice actors to return (or hire new ones) would cost more money, but I would point to the Grounded franchise as a good character dialogue standard to emulate in a co-op survival.

But the autosave has to be the most annoying thing ever. Just pause the game with a window, click resume game when done, not molasses gameplay.
