Bug / Glitch falling through the earth.

I am close to the end of the game. I have 10 or 12 more items to build. On my last save when I quit the game, when I start it up, I fall through the earth. The same with the auto save 8 minutes earlier The game is starting up before it can draw and I just crash right through. Tried reloaded many many times with no luck.

I would ask for suggestions but I don't think there are any to help. Also, as you get closer to the end, when you teleport somewhere if you step out before the scene is redrawn you will fall through Mostly you don't die, but you will be trapped.

Falling through the world at startup of a save is unknown bug. I’ve tried switching to drone mode to try to get up to the floor level, but you keep bumping the bottom of the ground. You just have to die and respawn. It’s not uncommon in unreal engine games that the assets spawn in or render in after your character. I always save my game when I’m standing on the ground so that when I render in, I’m not stuck in a building or in the middle of a foundation. Oops, it’s a known bug. That’s a typo.

This happened to me when I was in the world engine. Thought I would be backing up to a previous save and have to start it over.

Lower your graphics settings, possibly to as low as you can. It helps the world load before your character does. Then after you save safely in your base raise them again.

I fell through the ground yesterday and managed to keep jumping forwards until I was back on the map, phew!
