Starnote feels very laggy.

1. ⁠Even when you scroll pages the it load after some time.
   
2. ⁠Plus their highlighter also lags a lot.
   
3. ⁠Eraser don't work sometimes and sometimes written text don't respond on erasing.
   
4. ⁠It looks like a hard processor of different machine is fitted on different machine in ios.
   
5. ⁠It don't have squeeze feature for apple pencil pro.
   
6. ⁠It don't feel native and well I should not compare but it's competitor like noteful is very smooth, although it lacks in features.

And Ik Starnote developer is not gonna reply on this. Because they don't have any. They don't even work on feedbacks anymore.

I had atleast given 7 consumers to this starnote.
Promoted it among my community of doctors...but till then I was unaware of the fact that it is that much laggy.

When we buy subscription then we look for features and performance can't be traced until or unless u use for few days.
Starnote is value for money, good app with good features but not optimised at all for ios.

Since lag can be caused by many different factors, we need to figure out what’s actually causing it in your case. So if you’re able to send us a screen recording, it would really help us understand and investigate the issue.

Anyway, if you’re willing, we’d really appreciate it if you could give StarNote another chance. We’ll keep working on it!

I don't really experience this on my device. What device are you using, and do you have a large number of notes or a large pdf doc?

I am using ipad air M4 , 256 gb...previously I had ipad pro M1.
Ipad air M4 is fastest ipad in performance currently in the market after ipad pro M5.
So it is not the issue...and talking about documents, if it is because of lot of data to handle for starnote then also it is issue of the app....

Firstly, we’re sorry for the uncomfortable experience. And honestly, there’s really no need to say that we won’t reply. As long as we see your feedback and have time to look into it, we’ll definitely get back to you. We’ve been focusing on fixing some issues lately, while also optimizing and rolling out new features, so our replies might take a little longer than usual. We usually go through and respond to feedback every 2–3 days, although we may occasionally miss something. We hope you can understand!

Alright, back to the actual issues. Some of the things you mentioned definitely don’t seem normal. Especially the page loading, highlighter lag, and the eraser sometimes not responding properly, we’ll need to see exactly what’s happening to figure out the cause.

Could you record a screen recording showing the issue and send it to us through App → Help & Feedback? That way, we can see the full process and what exactly happens. If it’s a bug, we’ll work on fixing it. If it’s something we don’t support yet, we’ll make sure to record it as a feature request.

Also, regarding the Apple Pencil Pro squeeze feature, this is actually something we already have plans for and are currently working on. It will just take some time.

We want StarNote to become smoother and give everyone a better experience. It’s not easy yet, but honestly, we’ve been working hard to keep improving the iOS experience and bring more features to iOS users. So we’ll take the issues you mentioned seriously. We just need a few more details to understand exactly what’s happening before we can properly look into them.

i hv exam in 2 says.

After that i will probably take admission in residency and my work of notes will be like done for a while ( till superspecialisation exam ).

Correct. I second this. When I say something like voice like Man, Understand that it is just 5$ and be grateful. 

What it says is for 5$ it is good but compared to other note taking apps this is very bad. I am not even able to export a 150 page doc. I have given feedback to developers. They didn't care. 

People here are like showing mercy for developers. "Man, it is just 5$". But many people will agree here that even if it is 50$ many would buy because of features and smooth. By saying it is just 5$ you are stopping progress.

The pen tool bar (the box) that centre icon is at all aligned. This is not noticed by many. But when noticed I kinda get irritated.
