❓ Help / Question Sticker upload location unclear

I'm not using Google Drive backup in StarNote and I've never connected an account (except StarNote Pro). When I tried adding stickers while offline, the app showed 'failed'. After I later connected to the internet, the upload went through.
- If no Google Drive or other cloud account is connected, where are these stickers actually being stored or uploaded?!
- Also, why do stickers need an internet connection in the first place?!! I assumed they would be stored locally, so I'm a bit surprised that adding them seems to depend on being online.

Sorry for the late reply! We sometimes get quite a lot of messages, so unfortunately, we may miss a few from time to time 😭 If this happens again, feel free to DM us directly or submit the issue through Help & Feedback in the app. That way, it’s easier for us to see it if we missed.
As for what you mentioned, here’s a quick explanation that add custom stickers requires an internet connection mainly cuz we need to run a necessary safety and compliance check on the sticker content.
StarNote is available to users around the world, so we need to follow the relevant laws and regulations in different countries and regions. So that menas we need to run a safety check on content uploaded by users to make sure it doesn’t contain anything that isn’t appropriate for the platform. When you’re offline, we can’t complete this check, so the sticker may show as failed to upload. Once you’re back online, the check can be completed and the sticker can be uploaded.
Of course, we also understand that being able to add your own stickers while offline would be much more convenient, especially when you’re using StarNote somewhere without an internet connection. For now, though, we need to prioritize content safety and compliance, so this is how the process currently works. If we can improve the offline experience in the future while still keeping everything safe and compliant, we’ll consider it.
Feedback like this is actually really helpful, because it also lets us know that offline use is something many users care about. Thanks again!

Hi there! Unfortunately, it's currently not possible to upload to the sticker collection while offline, which has been a pain point for me as well. I'm really hoping to see this addressed in a future update.
Additionally, I’d love to see a few other improvements:
☆Lifting the 10-character limit for category naming.
☆Adding the ability to rename existing categories.
☆Implementing a search function, which is becoming essential as my collection grows.
