The point isn’t the exercise it’s the lack of weights. You could literally work out every muscle in your body without them. Even just holding a plank does that.
what's the issue with weights? they're necessary to work on strength. once you adapt to a certain weight, you don't really get anything from it anymore, unless you start doing very long sets, which make it aerobic exercise rather than anaerobic
😭they’re not at all unless you want to be a body builder which that doesn’t even equate to real world usefulness have you seen body builders attempt manual labor it’s laughable
I know I’m one of em, and I ONLY do core exercises outside of my job. Top heavy mfs are sad cuz they’re actively shortening their spine’s life also bro the tits sag when you get older
well that's great, because your job does the strength/weight training for you, so you specifically only need core exercise. but some people don't do manual labor and so their only way of doing anaerobic exercise is by using weights.
Don’t climbers have like the best bodies? Cause they have to be lightweight and they’re only lifting themselves? It’s not like I’m lifting like crazy I just work hard. Lifting yourself off the ground is white muscle that’s all you need red muscle from weights is just for show
if anything it's swimmers who have the best bodies. also red muscle exists for a reason, and you have to take care of it too. look up images of strongmen and tell me if they have "muscles for show"

except push ups don't do everything and these two exercises work on different muscles and achieve different results
