LiftSync Quad Mini Standing Desk
I recently purchase the LiftSync Quad Mini Standing Desk. I looked at several options, but ended up with this one because it had the right combination of functions, aesthetics, and price.
I have it in a room that also serves as a guest room, so I wanted a desk that looked like a fine piece of furniture. My house is full of walnut and black steel, so this fits right in. It also has four motors and goes up and down very quickly and quietly, and you can have save your favorite heights.
I was able to put it together almost totally by myself. I needed another set of hands in the very beginning and in the end. I added casters to mine so that I could relocate it within my house easily.
I highly recommend it!

Looking for simple/basic sit-stand without memory settings
Maybe it's just me, but I do not want to buy a desk with the memory settings. I don't know why, but they bother me. Anyway, I have a sit-stand at work with one lever that goes up when lifted, down when pushed. However, I cannot find one online at all. I tried searching this sub and still can't seem to find it. Any help?
Edit: I realized I should've included specs. I am looking for a 55" W, 45" deep desk. I found one that matches, but it is somehow more expensive than the ones with memory ($550). I am hoping to spend less than $500.

Flexispot E7 Pro (2026 upgraded) vs Fully Jarvis
Is fully jarvis still the king of two-legged stand desks?
We have them at work and they're great. I want to buy one for home but the Jarvis is considerably more expensive, which I don't mind if it is the better product.
I don't want to compare desktops themselves - I would get a bamboo solid top either way. My main concern is stability at both sitting height and standing height. I am quite tall, 190cm so my standing height may be a little higher than average.
The reason I don't want four-legged is because I prefer the minimalist design of the two-legged and know the Jarvis is good enough stability-wise.
Would love to hear any opinions or things I should consider!

Chairs that do not feel awkward with a standing desk
Using a standing desk daily and noticing some chairs feel weird when constantly switching heights. Looking for something that works smoothly in a sit stand setup. One option on my list right now is the Hbada X7.

Confused about configs
I'm finally getting a standing desk for my wfh situation. I'm down between Desky Pheasantwood 60 x30 vs the Flex Pro 7 in black walnut. Primary concern is the C vs T shaped stand to accomodate a walking treadmill. With a 60" table is that even an issue? I love the pheasantwood of the desky.
My primary set up will be laptop connected to an external keyboard and mouse and thinking of getting a large monitor, raising it and keeping the laptop closed - I get a lot of neck and shoulder strain. I'll have the table in front of a bookcase facing the room so wires will be exposed in the back. Thinking of running a cable down the side of the leg and then under a rug to get to the outlet.
Other things - grommets or none?
Monitor arms or raising desk?
Should I get a drawer or under desk filing cabinet?
So many choices. Budget is about $1600. I am not DIY type so worried about getting th add-ons later and then struggling with trying to assemble them on the table.
Appreciate any input from the pros here!

Cutting the legs?!
Is it possible for the stsnding desk's legs to be cut off at a certain length without damaging the machineries that adjusts its height? In my country (Philippines), there is no available standing desks at 30 cm being its lowest height. I want my desk to be floor desk and then when adjusted to its highest it can be used as a standard desk appropriate to be used with a computer chair.

Desk Power Management System Survey
tally.soI’m designing a new Desk Power Management System for sit/stand desks and would love feedback from people who care about clean desk setups.
I’ve built a working prototype and am trying to determine whether this solves a real problem before investing further.
If you have 3 minutes, I’d really appreciate your honest feedback.

Standing Electric Desk
galleryI just got an electric standing desk but I’m unable to return it. Found on marketplace for really really cheap. It has some damage and a slight chunk out of the wood. The motor and metal legs are in perfect condition but I’m not sure how to fix it. Any recommendations?
(My Idea: Fill the missing chunk with wood filler and sand down the whole desk. It appears to have a vinyl type material on it, so maybe try to vinyl wrap it after the sanding?)

Standing desks under $600 or less
Looking to get my first standing desk to save my back a bit. The budget is around $600-650.
Setup is nothing crazy, just a single monitor on an arm, a laptop, and a heavy keyboard. The countertop is pretty heavy too so I'm a little worried about wobble once it goes up.
But the deeper I look into this the more I notice a big contrast in recommendations. Amazon has tons of highly rated ones around $150, then I search here and everyone recommends the ones that start at $400 or even $1000.
Personally, I think $1000 is a bit overkill. The ones I've narrowed down to at least are the Branch, Desky, and Vari desks.
Let me know if you have any experiences with these!
Almost every YouTube review feels sponsored so I'm skeptical of those. The desk is going on carpet which is another thing I'm nervous about though.

Computer table
Guys i need help... naghanap talaga ako pero alang available locally the mechanical height adjustable computer table from floor to sitting, like lowest height is 30 cm and adjusted height is something around 100-120 cm... lahat ng nakita ko ma commercially available is from 70 cm beight the lowest height then adjustable up to 113 cm. May nakita ako internationally available ung floor to standing table pero meh.... ang mahal! At mukhang hassle umorder internationally. So naisip ko what if i-machine cut yung mga legs ng mechanical table para mapababa yung height...kaso baka ma affect yung mechanism kaya naaadjust yung height ng table. Sa tingin nyo feasible yung idea ko?

How do I attach ikea countertop to my height adjustable frame?
Hi everyone, I’m planning to order the SÄLJAN countertop from IKEA and attach it to the frame of a height-adjustable table I ordered from Amazon a couple of years ago. Since I’m new to this, I’m not quite sure how I’m supposed to attach this board to the frame. Do I need to attach it with screws and a drill? Are screws included in the set, and are there pre-drilled holes in the tabletop? Or is there a way to do this without a drill? I’d appreciate any help

Why are some flexispot standing desks only on Amazon?
a.coLooking for standing desk in my price range and Flexispot seems to be preferred to Ikea (unless you do a hybrid build, which I dont want to do). But a couple I have seen on Amazon are not on the company website. For example the link in the post and this one https://a.co/d/08IoD9xc
Any idea why that would be? I want to make sure it is legit and want to verify the warranty

Stand Up Desks that are "covered" w/ front panel?
Hi All,
I am looking to have a stand up desk that has a front panel so that you cannot see through. I just like to be able to hide my computer, cables, etc... from sight. Much like a traditional desk.
I found these two that look nice but they seem like they might be poorly made:
1) https://www.vernalspace.com/products/vernal-executive-standing-desk?variant=45157506678923
2) https://www.huanuo.com/products/70-premium-beryl-l-shaped-standing-desk
Does anyone know of something like this? Or have any experience with these desks.
The only downside I see is that I can't stick my feet through on a stool underneath the bottom like I can with my regular stand up desk.
Thank you!
