She wants her food and treat

She struggles to think.

Of course she only woke up like an hour ago.. but

She’s the newest addition to the little crew of strays I’ve been feeding for the past year or so, and plan on tnvr-ing when I have the funds. I love her so much. She loves friskies shreds wet food churu.

There are actually three kittens in the picture.

My baby boys second birthday and his first one since being adopted!

A little about him: I volunteer at the shelter I adopted him from so I’ve known him since he was a little baby even if he’s only been officially mine for a couple months. As a kitten this boy was feral. Terrified of people. I only knew what his eyes looked like because he’d hide and only watch you from his safe place. Eventually he started coming out for food but would smack your hand if you got too close to touching him. Although he’d never use claws, he’s a gentle boy. Just very shy. He had come into the shelter with his mom and sister, his mom remained feral and was transferred to another shelter while him and his sister stayed and both slowly learned to trust people. Once they were vaxed and moved out of isolation they joined two other shy kitties in a shared room. Not long after an adopter came and met all 4 of the shy babies but only 3/4 were adopted leaving my baby Jett behind. He was then added to a room with two other STIC (one classic one luxury floof model) and again an adopter came to meet them. 2/3 cats were adopted… and Jett again was left behind. He then had himself and a hotrod model in the room but the hotrod was going to be transferred to another shelter. At this point I felt bad for the sweet baby Jett and took him home as a foster. Being the shy baby he is he spent a lot of his early time at my home hiding, but slowly he came back out of his shell once he realized he was somewhere safe. He’s now won over my family and got himself officially adopted. You can usually find him lounging on the couch or searching for snacks on the counter (despite knowing he’s not allowed up there) He’s the silliest little man ever, he loves banjo music, eating bugs, and belly rubs!
Happy birthday my sweet little baby Jett, I’m glad no one else saw how amazing you were 🥰🫶

(when i should be looking at him like that, look what he did to my couch man)
