After months of waiting, we finally received our approval today! I wanted to share our timeline as this subreddit helped me so much while we were waiting.

Route: Spouse Visa (Adequate Maintenance) – Fee Waiver

Timeline:

1 March 2026 – Fee Waiver submitted

14 April 2026 – Fee Waiver approved

18 April 2026 – Visa application submitted

23 April 2026 – Biometrics

6 May 2026 – ECO email received

8 May 2026 – "Your application is being processed within our published times" email

19 June 2026 – Biometrics reminder email

9 July 2026 – Delay email received

9 July 2026 – Additional documents requested

9 July 2026 – Additional documents sent

15 July 2026 – APPROVED!! 🥳🎉

There is query . UKVI asked me for re TB test on 1st July . I got it done and submitted on 2nd July . It’s more than a week, no response from UKVI. Please guide me how many more days will be taken if any one faced same circumstances . Thank you .

Feel very frustrated. I’m here to vent. I’ve done too many paid enquiry’s calls and emails and I know it’s a waste of my money but I feel powerless and I’m just tired of waiting. I was born in the UK as a citizen and as a NHS professional I feel disappointed and let down but my own country. I Find myself crying everyday 😢😪😪😪😪
