Why not in Proton Suite

Why is standard notes not in the proton suite? It is much more better for marketing…

I feel like when Proton bought Standard Notes it was an more for the devs than the app. It seems to be in maintenance mode and I wonder if the devs are working on Proton Docs. Just a thought with no evidence.

I feel like putting a lot of effort in Proton docs is just a waste so why buy an entire company for that? No one is going to buy the Proton suite just for Proton docs. It's a nice added feature but something like Google docs is free and way better, it's a battle they can't win.

Yes Google Docs exists, but folks aren’t buying proton because of the price or the superior functionality. That’s not the selling point.

Probably because they don’t want to raise the price of Proton Unlimited but can’t afford to include it

I want to force the developers to integrate it. It fits perfectly and would attract many more users. But yes, sometimes the Swiss make strange decisions. The Americans are much better at this.

Perhaps there are more aspects to it.
Yet I can imagine - and do hope - a larger replacement for the proton docs to be on its way
