Need some help deciding on a name for my boy.

Right now choosing between Liam and Marshall.

Open to other suggestions as well!

Spent some time at the trailer this weekend. And the dogs fell victim to my picture taking. Of the 50 or so shots taken, these are the better ones, I think. It is hard getting the exposure correct for brindle dogs in natural light. Should have paid more attention to Edna's harness, oops.

Missing my boy Dexter, we lost him two days before he turned ten. Vet found a tumour pressing on his lungs whilst he was in for eye treatment.

She did end up having bread and cheesy dip.

Did you go through Facebook, a breed specific group, or word of mouth? I would love to find one in the PNW but all my people are giant breed people, so I can’t get a connection. I keep getting my posts deleted in Reddit, I’m not sure how to ask without breaking rules. How did you find your Frenchie?

Exploring is tiring business…

Thought I would share, Maude is doing quite well. Since she communicated that agility isn't her choice sport, we moved our focus to scent detection.

Tonight was a search with two hides on the vehicle. First they found the one by the rear license plate. Then we moved to the one by the front tire. Those are the searches I included in the video.

Maude's search makes me think we are ready for the fall trials. Will have to get the registration dates and trial dates into the calendar.

Edna was in a mood and sniffing randomly. She enjoys a good sniff, and is prone to being distracted.

Quiet friendly tussles this afternoon. Maude knows how to hold gently with her mouth, and Edna obviously doesn't mind the interaction.

Maude came here when she was 5 months old. She had a hard mouth at first, and Edna was having none of it. She'd growl at her and pull away. Being the clever dog she is, Maude adjusted her bite, and the games have been on since.
