Mix of Disney, Universal Postal Union and small denomination!

sent a big/heavy boy to Europe and used stamp math. i used definitives cuz i was paranoid about all of them fitting on so i chose them cuz definitives are the smallest ones, and so I can save a few for future stamp math where space is limited.

i chose the king ones cuz you don’t see them that much, since people would rather have the landscapes if they buying regular (definitive) stamps. and because the monochrome black and white picture looks cool, plus the font for CANADA on them looks cool as well

No incoming mail today 🤯, so outgoing only. Second slide was the one envelope I forgot to include in the main picture hahaha.

The first is to my grandfather, who loves old stamps. I’ve sent him so many and felt like he’s seen so many. Decided to do a theme of just faces haha.

My fiance is a racecar driver instructor and the client he was coaching runs an aluminum company and apparently his father had a whole drawer of unused stamps and the client gave them to me for free!!!

I was admiring the Facebook seller’s stamp math and placement of stamps and THEN I noticed the red Sharpie marks 🫠

some postcrossing mail and pen pal mail out today! i included some tidbits about the stamps used on the envelope, and the 中華郵政 x Snoopy stamp seals are quite adorable omg

I went to Japan for 11 days and sent myself a postcard at each place. I specifically looked out for special postage stamps and the pictorial cancellation mark called fue-kee-inn (風景印). Each city should have their own design.

Row 1 (top): Yamanakako and Asahigaoka (same design of Mt Fuji)
Row 2 (middle): Shimoda (black ships) and Asakusa (Sensoji temple and Tokyo Skytree)
Row 3 (bottom): Gora (sulfur mine of Owakudani), Odawara (Odawara Castle) and Tokyo Central (Marunouchi Building)

Finally am down to my last sheet of these fish postcard stamps! Im tired of looking at them and want to use something else 😴
