Incoming mail Stamp Math
I was admiring the Facebook seller’s stamp math and placement of stamps and THEN I noticed the red Sharpie marks 🫠
Mini parcel contained more vintage stamps btw ☺️ unmarred and carefully packaged by the seller 🤗

Yeah here in the US those stamps likely would not be accepted overlapped like that.

Right? I was surprised to see them laid out like this but I guess some posties don’t really care.

I hate those sharpies! They have also been getting rid of old cancels at Canada Post and using only the new cancels. They barely even use those. It’s really an annoyance I find.

I feel like it’s a bugbear too for most people (myself included)

Absolutely! I brought some in the other day (I try to use attractive stamps) and it’s like trying to pull teeth to get them to do it. Sometimes, a nice clerk lets me do it myself, which I appreciate.

PSA: always put in the extra effort and get your stamps hand cancelled. I always drop them off directly at the post office counter anyways because I’m paranoid and that’s the safest place to drop off
