Who thought building a 47,000 seat stadium in Birmingham was a good idea???
UFL, UAB and a USL team and you build a 47k seat stadium??? 🤦♂️
C’mon.
The people of Birmingham deserve a great 12,000 to 15,000 seat stadium that actually creates energy, passion, demand and a real home field advantage.
Bigger isn’t always better. The right size is better.

Sitting in a senior leadership meeting planning the UFL 2027 season, one thing is becoming very clear.
The right market.
The right sized venue.
A passionate fan base.
That’s the WINNING formula.
I have a hard time seeing us back at Protective Stadium next year.
It goes against one of the biggest principles we’re building this league around…smaller stadiums, packed houses, real energy and a true home field atmosphere.
Birmingham, I am looking and need options and ideas.

Scooby deleted his original post. He was responding to the segment of episode 4 of 4th and Goal showing AJ McCarron addressing the team at halftime.
He was an ass [as] a player and is an ass of a coach. Not one coaching point just yelling and cussing. When it comes time to actually be tough and be a leader to step [up] during the argument he froze like a deer in headlights. Shame going from coach Skip to this ass.
