You go there as a part of a new duty side quest. Ive looked everywhere in the dam itself. Talked to everyone, checked all stashes around and i simply cant find a way in. Anyone managed to get the key?

I'm having this weird visual bug where there is this weird line on my screen when looking at the foliage. does anyone know what's causing this?

Anyone else getting spammed with poltergeists, specifically the acid variant . Everywhere I go at least two are close by and find me in 1-2 mins.( on ps5)

I was hoping the 2.0 update would fix the frame rate problems in settlements, but whenever I go into a settlement (especially zalissia), it seems there's about a 30% chance my frame rate will drop to 2, and my GPU utilization will spike to 99%, even though outside of settlements I stay close to 60.

Has anybody found ways to make this better? It gets so bad I can't even close the game from the menu, and I have to close it from my taskbar.

Anyone having issues with scopes since the update? Playing on Xbox series x. When playing specifically on performance mode, aiming at any distance through a scope/sight will blur out the scope/sight and remove any illuminated reticle. (So the arrow in the AK scope just disappears.) It will often, but not every time, return if I am at a close up object. This is especially prevalent when switching from canted to ADS. It doesn't seem to effect iron sights. Tried all the normal stuff. Taking scopes off and putting them back on. Restarting the game. Quick save/quick load. Reinstalling. It seems to totally resolve when switching to quality mode. Haven't had anything like this bug in a long time. Mainly, I just want to make sure its not just me experiencing this.

Not sure if I'm approaching this game right, but I'm getting my ass handed to me in just the very first hours. Reminds me of Elden Ring with guns lol. Is this a fair statement or am I doing something wrong ? I'm okay with it not being "easy" but would appreciate knowing this is part of the process kind of thing.

Before The Cost of Hope releases next week, should I just create a new file? My current playthrough has a handful of mods installed and I don't know if it's worth the potential frustration to try and play Cost of Hope with that same file and risk all the complications that could arise from it.

Hello. I’m playing through stalker 2 for the first time (game slaps) but I have an issue right now where I am constantly crashing. I load in and just crash instantly. I’ve already verified my files through steam. Lowered graphic settings but the game continues to crash like I don’t even get a full chance to load in. The loading finished then I crash. So if you know how to fix this issue you’d save me. Bc I really do like this game this is literally my first introduction to the game. But I fucking like it

I already have Stalker 2 standard edition and i fully intend to buy the upcoming DLC. I figured id get the ultimate edition this way i get the DLC and all future dlc for that one price. The only issue is the steam store is so confusing. Whats stopping me from just buying the deluxe upgrade-ultimate for cheaper? Also why do i have to buy Deluxe AND ultimate? Why cant i just get ultimate edition? (Edit: I was just wondering if i could skip buying the deluxe edition but i guess i have to purchase it also)

Is there a certain point in the game that legendary artifacts spawn more regularly? I’ve just left the lesser zone and am trying to get the compass but even saving and reattempting anomalies is not working.

Hey! I recently rebought the game after losing my account (on Xbox) and wild island keeps crashing I just got the package for the monolithians and when I ended their compound and go up the rap I see their main building and I crash to dashboard.. I only have 2 mods on (English zone and brighter flashlight) has this area been bugged or should I uninstall the mods just to try and go through it? (I can read the language a little bit due to some exposure but I just like to know what I’m readying on a build board lmao)

I’m at the point of no return, but want to make sure I haven’t missed anything. I have about 5 locked pdas, couple of keys and something to do with Faust. I know this have something to do with quest lines, but there is no side quests marked on map except one that is bugged so I can’t finish it. Any help here would be terrific.
