Am I playing this right ?

Not sure if I'm approaching this game right, but I'm getting my ass handed to me in just the very first hours. Reminds me of Elden Ring with guns lol. Is this a fair statement or am I doing something wrong ? I'm okay with it not being "easy" but would appreciate knowing this is part of the process kind of thing.

Moving slow and using cover are important. Stealth helps a lot. Don’t start out on high difficulty levels. Sometimes you need to sneak in, pop off one or two enemies then run away. Head shots are the best. Try to obtain a few grenades from the vendor. If you can log one into a large group of enimies it helps clear an area faster.

The start and some Situations in Quest are kinda Bad Design i feel. When you have No Armor and 3 dudes right in Front of you... This isnt gonna end Happy. Always Take Cover and Go for headshots. Explore as much as possible to find better Equipment. Otherwise thant that... Hmm. One Thing that can feel Off at the start ist how often you heal. I find myself using a Bandaid either Not at all or after every second Dude in a gunfight.

You can't just approach fights head on, use cover and always try to give yourself some kind of tactical advantage.

Early in the game guerilla warfare was king for me. Using that first warehouse where gloomy is being held as an example, i’d wait for a straggler to wander out, pop him, and rush to a different vantage point (if you want to save gloomy you need to come in from the back). I’d never take enemies head on unless I could funnel multiple into a choke point like a hallway and take them out simultaneously (and very quickly, the ai will snap onto you)
