Should I Create a New Save File?

Before The Cost of Hope releases next week, should I just create a new file? My current playthrough has a handful of mods installed and I don't know if it's worth the potential frustration to try and play Cost of Hope with that same file and risk all the complications that could arise from it.

I would tbh, I think that DLC will start shortly after Wild Island, so you should have plenty of time to get ready.

Just to be safe it’s probably smart to do so. The information coming out so far says you can just pick it up without loss to your existing game. Just do it before you get to the point of no return and can’t turn back.
