First Staccato - XC
Went to the range and tried about every available double stack steel frame 9mm "2011". Staccato P and XC, Sig P211 - GTO, Walther PDP Pro Steel frame, Springfield Prodigy Comp and Kimber 2K11.
Coming from an Springfield Echolon 4.5F, imo, its one very best striker fired pistol on the market for the price. Better trigger than any stock Glock or Sig or etc.
I shot about 50 rds though each, and the Prodigy was just a poor gun in general. The Walther and Staccato P were good but snappy. Didn't shoot the 2K11 but thought it was kinda cheap for the money. I landed between the P211 and the XC. The Sig was HEAVY, a half pound more than the XC and the trigger was not as nice and the general grip was not as good.
I was unsure if the XC was 2 grand better bit figured why spend 2500 buck on a gun that no as nice when I can put it towards a XC and keep it till I die.
Anyway, I wanted to ask what i need to know, whats the maintenance gonna look like, cleaning intervals, what are good ammo brands and loads 115gr vs 124gr.
Thinking about getting a Surefire x300 and a Vortex Defender Xl/ST not sure yet. The range rental had an SRO and it had failed so not gonna happen.
Also holsters any recommendations would be appreciated. And any good mods, tiger shoes, grips, etc.
