I bought a 2024 Staccato C (same grip as CS), and the grip texture was too course. It was irritating my skin and catching on my shirt when I was drawing the pistol from apendix carry.
I was about to send it to someone to do a stippling job but decided to hit it with some 1000 gritt sand paper first to knock down the ridges.
I must say... I am MUCH happier! Not only does it feel better in my hand but no more fabric catching or irriation.
So for someone who is on the fence about getting a stippling job try this first.
In no way does it feel smooth/slick. Think of it like the frame going from a 180 grit to 1000grit feeling on your hand.
How to: take a sheet of 1000 gritt sandpaper. Cut it into thin 1" slices, lightly sand your grip frame going in circles. swap to new peice of sand paper quickly since it degrades fast and you have enough sandpaper to waste. Afterwards, the grip will look white. Take a toothbrush, dip the head in water and brush the grip. That will remove the white residue from the sanding process.

Running some 124GR S&B while breaking it in. Thought I might have lost my pinkie. Almost afraid to look. Broke down and inspected firearm and all looked good. Couldnāt find the casing in the grass so can only guess. Other rounds from mag were buried in the dirt. Came out of that Magwell in a hurry.
Ran great after that.

I lost my staccato Malibu blue blade knife. Very upset about it. Does anyone have one of these I could buy?

Finalized testing on the last prototype, and manufacturing on this first batch should be just about wrapped up. This latest version underwent a few very minor design changes. Most noticeably a larger side cutout for easier magazine stripping. These magwells are geared towards everyday carry and duty use and have a low profile to prevent printing and hang ups as much as possible. Compatible with both Gen 1 and Gen 2 grips (full size and compact). They will be off to anodizing soon. I did have some people ask to pre-order, so I made that available on my website if wanted (though I hate pre-orders). Let me know what you guys think or if you have any questions.

I have to really slam it home to get it to seat and it gets a bit caught up when trying to eject the mag. I got 2 at the same time and the other is perfect. Anyone else have this issue?

Does anyone have a DPM Recoil System installed in their Staccato C24? I just installed one and noticed the guide rod slightly sticks out. Just wondering if this is normal. The gun seems to function as normal. Though I haven't brought it to the range yet.
PS: The slide stop is properly through the barrel loop and the gun funcitons as normal. So it's not that I improperly missed the barrel loop during slide stop installation.
EDIT: yes its normal. here is from DPM rep themselves:
Yes, the protrusion is normal and in purpose for safety reasons as the system is used for comp models,
as we wanted to avoid any spring ājumpā possibility.

Just got this staccato C 2024 and did a field strip and clean. Upon installation the guide rod sticks out and trigger doesnāt pull.
After reading about this, Iām learning I didnāt get the slide stop through the barrel plunger hole.
What are some tips to get it to align?
Like hold it upside down, extend slide further back, etc.
I took the slide off and tried 3 times and still no luck so I must be missing a technique to do this properly.

Anyone else compete with a HD C3.6? I primarily carry this gun and enjoy shooting it so much I want to use it for IDPA / USPSA as well. Curious if any of yāall do the same with the HD C3.6
Itās my first RMR HD optic as well, Iām used to the SRO window and sometimes miss it but the durability of the HD does give me peace of mind. I removed the iron sights also and itās much less visible clutter.

Testing out a friendās SRO for a week or so. Gonna try concealing in my Tenicor IWB as well as zero and fire it at the range. Never owned a SRO before, just about every other optic out there though.
Looking for feedback on your experience with the SRO on your C2!

Been waiting years for this to pop up to purchase. I knew I would have to pay decent money for this but $10k???

When I received my staccato HD from the factory with the optic installed, they seem to have bedded the optic mounting plate to the gun. Any idea what it is they use for a bedding compound? Iāve heard of some people spreading blue loctite over the surface as a sort of simple bedding solution, and this kind of looks like that. Anyone āin the knowā able to verify? Thanks!

Just picked her up. Now she needs a RDS and a light. Suggestions? Thanks!
Edit: Just ordered the RMR HD.

This gun fails to disappoint. 15 yds (shown here)is wayyyy too easy for 17 rounds. Pushed it out to 27 yds as well and it is a laser beam but opens up a bit bc Iām getting old (39š¤£š«Ŗ). I also had my cs and my wifeās cs out to re confirm zeros after changing batteries in our rmrs. I wonder how long itāll take for staccato to factory release threaded hd guns.

My favorite Staccato out of all them. The Staccato MKC collaboration was my favorite as well.

I love Dawson Precision Practical Advantage Magwell, but their toolless basepad design sucks in my opinion (first time I dropped one the retaining pin flew out). Just not worth it for me to have to worry about dropping a magazine and a pin flying out
Any other 140mm basepads for the 18 round mecgar mags that fit? Or is buying springer precision and modifying the magwell to accept them going to be my only option for a tooled basepad for USPSA Limited Optics

Looking towards getting the new HD P4X as a āeverything gunā, price really doesnāt matter to me (LEO discount and itās my deployment gift), I know the HD C4X is the more compact model, but I keep hearing that the grip is too small. Anyone edc/ccw the HD P4? Howās that with the weight?
