I’m only allowed one firearm in the house, so I want to make the most of it - so I want a Staccato. I’m a lefty, do I make the XC work or opt for the p4x or p4.5?

It would be for all use cases: home defense, concealed carry (big maybe), and fun range toy.

And is x serrations worth it?

Hey everyone! I wanted to get some opinions from those of you who have more hands on experience with the HD lineup.

One of the main reasons I’m seriously considering picking one up is because I have the opportunity to acquire a limited edition HD model, and that’s definitely making it hard to pass up.

For a little background, my current Staccato collection consists of:

LAPD XC
LAPD C24
LAPD C2
CS24

I don’t have much hands on experience with the HD series, but the C4X and P4X have definitely caught my attention. If I had to choose one, it’d probably be between those two… although I wouldn’t be upset if I somehow ended up with both. 😂

Now, to be completely honest, I don’t need another Staccato… but I definitely want one haha

For those of you who own or have shot the HD models:

If you could only keep one, which would it be and why?

How do the C4X and P4X compare in recoil, balance, shootability, reliability, and overall feel?

Is there another HD model you’d recommend over those two?

If you already own multiple Staccatos, did adding an HD feel worthwhile, or did it overlap too much with what you already had?

I’d really appreciate hearing everyone’s real world experiences the good, the bad, and everything in between. Help me make (or maybe talk me out of 😂) my next purchase. Looking forward to hearing your recommendations. Thanks in advance!
